For fish and chip shops
A shorter Friday queue, and no commission.
Customers order on your own website, pick a collection time and walk in to a hot, ready order. Every portion and extra prints on the ticket, and no delivery app takes a cut.
Sound familiar?
Friday teatime, and the queue's out the door.
Everyone turns up at six, and people give up and go home.
The phone rings non-stop while you're trying to fry.
The apps take a cut of every order, even a small chips.
01 — Collection times
Order ahead, skip the queue.
Customers order on your own website and choose ASAP or a collection time that suits them. They pay online, walk in, pick up their bag and go. Fewer people waiting at the counter, and nobody leaving because the queue's too long.
- ASAP or a collection time they choose
- Paid online before they arrive
- A shorter queue at teatime
02 — No commission
Keep the money from every portion.
Orders come through your own website, so nobody takes a percentage. A £40 family order is £40 in your pocket, not what's left after the app's cut.
- No percentage taken from your orders
- Card payments straight to you
- Cash on collection if your regulars prefer it
03 — Busy nights
Fryer full? Pause in one tap.
When the fryers can't take any more, pause online orders for ten minutes and switch them back on when you've caught up. Run out of haddock or fishcakes? Mark them as sold out in seconds, so nobody orders what you haven't got.
- Pause online orders in one tap
- Mark fish or sides as sold out
- Back on whenever you're ready
04 — Straight to the fryer
Every portion and extra on the ticket.
Website orders print by the fryer the moment they're paid: regular or large, salt and vinegar, mushy peas, curry sauce, gravy. They land on the till with your counter and phone orders, so nothing gets misheard or missed.
- Printed by the fryer automatically
- Sizes, sauces and sides on every ticket
- Website, counter and phone orders together
05 — Delivery drivers
Delivery, without hiring drivers.
Use your own drivers, our couriers or both. For each delivery, we compare courier companies and book the best price, timed for when the order comes out of the fryer, so it arrives hot and crisp. Your customer follows the driver on a map. Couriers are available in the UK.
- Several courier companies, best price booked
- Timed for when the food is ready
- Your own drivers too, if you have them
06 — Loyalty
Friday regulars, rewarded.
Every order adds a stamp to your customer's loyalty card on their phone. When it's full, they get the reward you choose, like a free portion of chips or a free fish supper.
- Stamps added on every order
- A loyalty card on their phone
- You choose the reward
07 — Hands-off offers
A Friday reminder that sends itself.
We set up your Friday messages, birthday treats and "we haven't seen you in a while" texts, and they go out on their own to your own customers. You don't write, design or press send.
- Set up by us from day one
- Sent automatically, all year round
- Nothing for you to do
08 — Your customers
Every customer is yours.
Every order saves the customer's name, number and order history to your own list. You know who comes in every week, and you can reach them whenever you like.
- Name, phone and email saved
- Order history and spend
- A list you own and keep
09 — Reviews
More five-star reviews, fewer bad ones.
After every order, customers get a message asking how it was. Happy ones go to Google to leave a review, and unhappy ones tell you privately, so you can put it right.
- A review message after every order
- Happy customers sent to Google
- Complaints come to you first

Questions
Fish and chip shop questions, answered.
Can customers choose a collection time?
Yes. Customers choose ASAP or a time that suits them, so orders spread across the evening instead of everyone turning up at once.
Can I show sizes, sauces and sides?
Yes. Regular or large, salt and vinegar, mushy peas, curry sauce, gravy and anything else you sell, each priced the way you set it and printed on the ticket.
Can I pause orders when the fryers are full?
Yes. Pause online orders in one tap for as long as you need, and switch them back on when you've caught up.
What if I run out of a fish?
Mark it as sold out in seconds and customers can't order it. Switch it back on when you've got more in.
Can customers pay cash?
Yes. Customers can pay by card online, or cash on collection or delivery if you want to allow it.
Do I have to leave the delivery apps?
No. Plenty of shops keep the apps for new customers and move their regulars to their own website. Every order that comes through your website instead saves you the commission.
Do I need my own drivers?
No. Use your own drivers, our couriers, or both. Couriers are booked for you at the best price on each order, and are available in the UK.
What if I need help?
Every plan comes with expert support by WhatsApp, phone, SMS and email.
What Our Customers Say
Getting started
Let us do everything for you.
Step 1 of 3
We only take on 10 new restaurants a month.
We set up every restaurant ourselves, so we can only take on a few at a time. If you're interested, have a chat with us to see if we can help you.
Questions owners ask us.
Do I need to be good with computers?
No. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use Dinerly. And if you'd rather not, ring us and we'll do it.
I already have a website. What happens to it?
We'll look at it first and tell you honestly what's worth keeping. Then you decide.
Do I need to buy a tablet or printer?
The kit comes from us. Every restaurant gets a Dinerly kitchen printer, and Ultra includes a tablet too. It's covered by a one-off setup fee, which is free if you pay annually.
How much does it cost?
A simple monthly fee, with no commission on top. You can see every plan on our pricing page. See pricing
