Delivery drivers
Deliver your own orders, without hiring drivers.
When a customer orders delivery on your website, we book a courier for you. We compare several courier companies on every order and book the best price. No commission, no drivers on your payroll, and no delivery app between you and your customer.
01 — No commission
Keep the money from every order.
Orders come through your own website, not a delivery app, so nobody takes a cut of the food. You pay for the delivery itself, and you decide how much of it your customer covers.
- No percentage taken from your orders
- You pay for the delivery, not a share of the food
- You set your own delivery fee
02 — Several courier companies
Every order quoted. Best price booked.
You're not tied to one courier company. For each delivery, we ask the courier companies that cover your area for a price and an arrival time, and book the best one. Bike, motorbike or car, whatever suits the order and the distance.
- Prices and arrival times compared on every order
- Bikes, motorbikes and cars
- No separate account with each courier company
03 — Perfect timing
The driver arrives when the food is ready.
Book a driver too early and they stand around waiting. Too late and the food goes cold. Dinerly shows a countdown on every delivery order, worked out from how far away the driver is, so you can call them when the food is nearly ready. If nobody taps the button, we book them for you.
- A countdown on every delivery order
- Request the driver in one tap
- Booked for you if the kitchen forgets
04 — Live tracking
Customers watch their food arrive.
Your customer gets a text with a tracking link and can follow the driver on a map, right to the door. Fewer calls asking where the food is, and you can see every delivery in Dinerly too.
- A text with a live tracking link
- The driver on a map, with an arrival time
- Every delivery visible in Dinerly
05 — Backup courier
If a courier drops out, another one is booked.
Couriers sometimes cancel, especially on a busy Friday night. When that happens, the next courier is booked straight away, so the order isn't left on the counter and you don't have to ring round.
- Another courier booked automatically
- No phone calls to courier companies
- The customer's tracking link carries on
06 — Your customers
Every delivery customer is yours to keep.
With a delivery app, the customer belongs to the app. With Dinerly, every name, number and order goes into your own customer list, so you can bring them back with offers, loyalty stamps and a link to order again.
- Name, phone and order history saved
- Send them offers by text or email
- Next time, they order from you, not the app
How it works
From order to doorstep, in four steps.
- 1
The customer orders
They order delivery on your website and pay for the food and the delivery fee upfront.
- 2
You accept and cook
The order lands on your till and prints in the kitchen, with a countdown for the driver.
- 3
We book the courier
We compare courier companies and book the best price, timed for when the food is ready.
- 4
The customer follows it
They get a tracking link by text. The driver collects and delivers, and you see it marked as done.
What it costs
No commission. Just the delivery.
You pay the courier's price for each delivery. It depends on the distance and the vehicle, and you can see it on every order. You set the delivery fee your customers pay, so it can cover some or all of it.
- No percentage of your orders
- Courier prices passed on with no mark-up
- A small booking fee per delivery
- No contract with any courier company

Delivery apps vs your own delivery.
Questions
Delivery, answered.
Where is it available?
Delivery drivers are available in the UK, wherever the courier companies we work with cover. We'll check your postcode before you start.
Do I need my own drivers?
No. Couriers come from the courier companies and are booked by Dinerly when you need them. You don't hire, insure or schedule anyone.
How is the courier chosen?
For each order, we get prices and arrival times from the courier companies that cover your area and book the best price that can get there in time.
What does it cost?
There's no commission. You pay the courier's price for each delivery, which depends mainly on the distance and the vehicle, plus a small booking fee. You choose what your customers pay for delivery. If a driver is kept waiting at collection, the courier company may charge for the extra time, which is why the countdown helps.
What if the food arrives late or damaged?
Let us know and we'll raise it with the courier company. Where the courier is at fault, the cost of the delivery can be credited back.
Can I choose where I deliver to?
Yes. You set your delivery area, your minimum order and the delivery fee your customers pay.
Do I have to stop using the delivery apps?
No. Plenty of restaurants keep the apps for new customers and move their regulars to their own website. Every delivery that comes through your website instead saves you the commission.
Do I need Dinerly online ordering?
Yes. Delivery drivers work with the orders that come through your Dinerly website.
What Our Customers Say
Getting started
Let us do everything for you.
Step 1 of 3
We only take on 10 new restaurants a month.
We set up every restaurant ourselves, so we can only take on a few at a time. If you're interested, have a chat with us to see if we can help you.
Questions owners ask us.
Do I need to be good with computers?
No. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use Dinerly. And if you'd rather not, ring us and we'll do it.
I already have a website. What happens to it?
We'll look at it first and tell you honestly what's worth keeping. Then you decide.
Do I need to buy a tablet or printer?
The kit comes from us. Every restaurant gets a Dinerly kitchen printer, and Ultra includes a tablet too. It's covered by a one-off setup fee, which is free if you pay annually.
How much does it cost?
A simple monthly fee, with no commission on top. You can see every plan on our pricing page. See pricing
